This event offers an introduction to the inner workings of the United States Congress and how community organizations can effectively engage in advocacy on Capitol Hill. The event will explore the roles of Senators, Representatives, Congressmembers, and their constituent services. We will examine how community members can effectively communicate and elevate their voices as well as progress from advocacy to legislation.
